Siren Rewards – Terms for Frontline Workers

We created Siren Rewards to say thank you — to the frontline workers who keep Nova Scotia running. By using our app, you're agreeing to the simple terms below so we can keep everything fair, safe, and running smoothly.

 Who Can Use Siren Rewards?

Siren Rewards is just for frontline heroes. That includes:

• NS Health & IWK staff
   
• Doctors, nurses, and medical support staff
   
• Police, fire, ambulance
   
• Teachers and educators
   
• Armed services and support roles
   

To access discounts, you'll need to show a valid work badge or recent pay stub to the business — just so they know you’re part of the crew. To double check your eligible please have a quick look here

 How the App Works

Once you’re in, you can browse exclusive discounts from local businesses — everything from food and fitness to services and shopping. We have only just started, more businesses will be added over the course of time, don't hold it against us if you cant find what you're looking for right now. We are working hard to get more businesses involved, we promise.

Starting 2026: Small Fee, Big Impact 

Right now, Siren Rewards is completely free — no cost to join, no card to carry.

Starting in January 2026, we’ll be introducing a $50 annual fee for the official Siren Rewards card. This small charge helps us:

• Keep the app running smoothly
   
• Add new perks and partners
   
• Support frontline charities — a portion goes directly to the IWK Foundation
   

We’ll give you lots of notice before anything changes, and the goal is to make the program even better for Nova Scotia’s heroes like you.

Don’t Abuse the Perks 

If someone misuses the app — like pretending to be eligible, sharing access, or using it in bad faith — we may suspend access to keep things fair for real frontline workers.
